The beginning - Security Storage, located on Oak Street, began cleaning its customer's rugs on the roof of their building.

1938 - The rug cleaning business quickly grew at Security Storage and this new business segment was renamed Security Amirkhanian in 1938.

The company moved to 1776 Tennessee Avenue where its offices and cleaning plant are still located today.

1952 - A Mirza rug cleaning machine and automated drying room were installed at Security Amirkhanian. This gave the company the ability to clean large quantities of rugs for had an overall cleaning superiority over anything available in the tri-state.

1960s - Wall-to-wall carpet was invented and Security Amirkhanian was the first company in Cincinnati to offer in-home carpet cleaning.

1970s - Security Amirkhanian established its smoke, fire and water restoration service.

2002 - A new state-of-the-art Mor rug cleaning machine was installed - the only one of its kind in Cincinnati - providing superior cleaning and care for area and oriental rugs.
